It would be a crime to spend so much time restoring a vintage vehicle, and then sticking vinyl letters on it. That was not how it was done. Traditional sign writing by hand cannot be imitated.

On modern or commercial vehicles I will use vinyl lettering for secondary copies, leaving more time to spend on prominent and eye catching wording, logos or enhancement. However complete vinyl lettering is optional.

After years of restoration work I was lucky enough to reproduce and sign write the old advertisements on a vintage London bus. When it was completed I was invited to its launch along with all the other craftsman and VIPs who worked on the project. We took a trip on its original route, ending for a photo shoot at The Tower of London. A fantastic day!
